About The Position

The Purchasing Supervisor oversees daily purchasing operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, supplies, and services. This role manages vendor relationships, negotiates pricing and contracts, monitors inventory levels, and ensures purchasing compliance with company policies. The Purchasing Supervisor partners with operations and finance to support budget and inventory needs while driving efficiency and continuous improvement within the purchasing function.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication style with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Ethical decision‑making and adherence to company policies and standards
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • ERP or inventory management system support experience
  • Exposure to cost analysis, forecasting, or supply planning
  • Familiarity with nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries
  • Process documentation or continuous improvement experience
  • Prior supervisory or informal team‑lead responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, regulated, or fast‑paced environments strongly preferred
