As the Purchasing Supervisor, you're the behind-the-scenes powerhouse keeping everything stocked, organized, and running smoothly across the property. You lead the Purchasing and Receiving teams, making sure the right products show up at the right time-without missing a beat. You're part coach, part problem-solver, and part deal-maker-balancing quality, cost, and efficiency while supporting the teams that create unforgettable guest experiences every day.

Requirements

  • Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
  • High school diploma or GED (2-year degree or purchasing certification preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, warehouse, or similar environment
  • Strong math, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with inventory or procurement systems (Stratton-Warren preferred)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong communication skills-you know how to keep everyone in the loop
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make smart decisions quickly
  • Food Handler/ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.

  • Hospitality, gaming, or food service experience = a big plus

Responsibilities

  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Lead the daily operations of Purchasing and Receiving, making sure everything runs efficiently and by the book.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of team members alongside department leadership.
  • Assign tasks, follow up on progress, and keep the team aligned with company standards.
  • Keep storage areas, warehouses, and vehicles clean, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Help manage schedules, time-off requests, and payroll tasks when leadership is unavailable.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to team members.
  • Deliver excellent service to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Handle purchase requests, source vendors, and request quotes (RFQs/RFPs).
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions for accuracy, authorization, and compliance.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely follow-up with vendors.
  • Evaluate products for quality and value-especially for larger or high-impact purchases.
  • Monitor deliveries, troubleshoot issues, and act as the go-to problem solver between vendors and departments.
  • Keep detailed and organized purchasing records for tracking and audits.
  • Support inventory counts, investigate variances, and help improve accuracy over time.
  • Review usage trends to help decide what stays stocked (and what doesn't).
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and product quality-especially for food-related items.
  • Assist with asset disposal and liquidation processes when needed.
  • Help train staff on systems (like SWS) and create helpful how-to documentation.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly.
