Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services that align with our company's operational needs. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to ensure the best value for our organization. Position Purpose The Buyer is responsible for achieving Company Inventory Management goals for assigned Store Branches which includes, but is not limited to, Assortments, Purchase Order accuracy (cost, quantity, ship dates), minimal spoilage and shortages, freight negotiation and managing optimum inventory levels. They will execute a replenishment strategy that supports supply chain efficiencies, as well as Resource Suppliers & product for assorted Branch Identities.
