Enjoy a fast-paced environment, excellent recreation benefits and flexibility within the workday. We are looking for a Purchasing and Receiving Supervisor to join our team. The role is responsible for assisting with coordinating the overall Purchasing & Receiving functions for The Lodge at Spruce Peak, The Club at Spruce Peak, and Stowe Country Club, operate the Food & Beverage Storeroom operations for The Lodge, and helping facilitate dock operations for the property as a whole. Some responsibilities include coordinating the oversight of all receiving movement and distribution of products and services within the building. This includes scheduling deliveries and services, coordinating deliveries with other departments for owners, coordinating vendor movement with security, managing incoming and outgoing mail as well as the overall supervision of dock personnel. The position will work closely with and report directly to the Loading Dock Manager. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years or more of relevant experience preferred, in-depth knowledge of procurement and inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills in order to oversee daily operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technology and system savvy - Birchstreet knowledge preferred, but not required.
  • Motivated, energetic and positive personality.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to be certified on the use of materials handling equipment such as electric pallet jack.
  • Flexibility for scheduling.

Responsibilities
