About The Position
AKT Enterprises is seeking a Purchasing & Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Orlando, FL. This full-time position offers a pay range of $15 to $20 per hour, depending on relevant experience. As a leader in the screen printing and merchandising industry, AKT is known for delivering high-quality custom apparel and promotional products. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our ability to provide exceptional products to a diverse range of clients. In this role, you will be responsible for ordering wholesale garments from various distributors and coordinating with custom apparel and accessory sources to fulfill client orders. You will also communicate with various internal departments to ensure smooth operations. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented and process-driven, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly identify, analyze, and solve problems. If you are a self-proclaimed spreadsheet genius and enjoy working with numbers, this position is perfect for you! Your responsibilities will include providing pricing quotes for promotional productions and decorated garments, processing sales orders with respective vendors, and collaborating with vendors to source unique and quality products that meet our clients' needs. Staying organized and updated on order statuses and tracking details will be crucial to meet client deadlines. You will also engage in constant communication with team members and vendors, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned. As you start your journey with us, you will immediately dive into price-shopping our distributors for the best deals on blank garments, recording purchase costs, and verifying item pricing for maximum profitability. You will also be responsible for communicating any pricing issues or concerns to account representatives and their managers, as well as facilitating product returns and RMAs to distributors.
