About The Position

The Purchasing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the purchasing initiatives and activities within the organization. This role ensures cost-effective procurement and manages supplier relationships to support operational and production goals. The manager will provide cost-benefit analysis, negotiate prices, manage client expectations, and oversee the entire supply chain process for Purchasing USA. Additionally, the manager will develop and implement purchasing strategies to support operations across USA sites, ensuring alignment of procurement activities with company goals, including cost, quality, and supplier performance.

• Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to optimize purchasing decisions.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure materials are available for production.
• Optimize the flow of materials and manage inventory efficiently.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to the supply chain.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements.
