We are hiring a Purchasing Officer I. This position performs beginning level duties in the procurement of or payment of goods and non-professional services on an agency wide-basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Gathers, prepares and maintains purchase and payment documents. Works with vendors to collect quotes, invoices and etc. Pro Card Holder/ reconciles purchases. Monitors purchases made for conformance with the Model Procurement Code, (KRS 45A) Performs beginning level duties in the performance of or payment of goods and non-professional services in accordance with the agency’s Small Purchase Authority. Performs other duties as directed by Fiscal Manager and Supervisor.
