About The Position

Hilton at the Ballpark is a premier hospitality destination known for its exceptional service and luxurious accommodations. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team and oversee all procurement activities to ensure our hotel operates efficiently and cost-effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and budgeting abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and cost-control initiatives in hospitality procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for food & beverage and other hotel supplies.
  • Source suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while identifying and evaluating new suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential supplies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to determine purchasing needs and budget requirements.
  • Conduct cost analyses to identify savings opportunities and optimize purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with hotel standards, sustainability policies, and budget guidelines.
  • Oversee the proper documentation and record-keeping of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new products, and industry best practices.
