About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Purchasing Manager for Vail Health located in Vail, Colorado. The Purchasing Manager will direct and oversee all purchasing, procurement, and inventories for the food service departments at three locations near Vail, CO. The Purchasing Manager will come with a culinary background, experience leading kitchen operations, teams, and inventory management.

Requirements

  • a strong culinary background in a high-volume environment
  • extensive inventory management and purchasing experience
  • strong leadership skills and experience
  • proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 3 years

Responsibilities

  • oversee all procurement, purchasing, and inventory management for food service department
  • assist in managing pricing structure to meet food cost goals
  • analyze procurement and financial data
  • manage day to day supplier communications
  • monitor and control product inventory levels
  • implements procurement strategy and policies
