Purchasing Manager
About The Position
Purchasing Manager Job Tasks: Manages and coordinates activities of buyers and support staff engaged in purchasing and distributing raw materials, equipment, machinery and supplies from vendors to maintain FIBA production levels. Purchase and negotiate all vendor supplied services as well as coordinate delivery times. Obtain product and/or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Insure cost reductions by vendor interaction, product comparison, and knowledge by continuously managing relationships. Perform all purchasing functions in a heavy manufacturing environment. Support all MRO activities within the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a purchasing field required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with various departments within the organization.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
- On site Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
Nice To Haves
- MAS500 experience is a plus.
