Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven Purchasing or Supply Chain Management experience
  • Strong negotiation and Vendor Management skills
  • Proficiency in Procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Purchasing and Supply Chain regulations
  • Experience with budget management and financial analysis
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field is highly desirable, demonstrating advanced knowledge and strategic insight into the complexities of procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Over 7 years of progressive procurement experience within the landscape supply or construction industry, showcasing a deep understanding of market dynamics and vendor management practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to optimize purchasing processes and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement strategies that align with the company’s long-term objectives, optimizing supply chain efficiency and ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Lead the negotiation and management of supplier contracts to secure favorable terms, optimize vendor relationships, and enhance product quality across all purchasing categories.
  • Oversee the purchasing team, fostering an environment that encourages professional growth while upholding the Company’s values of employee empowerment and engagement.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, assess supplier performance, and continuously improve procurement processes to drive innovation and maintain our competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with company goals, ensuring a seamless flow of materials and services to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze purchasing metrics and KPIs to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement, supporting the company's commitment to achieving excellence and setting industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies in purchasing activities, safeguarding the Company’s reputation and ensuring ethical sourcing practices.
