About The Position

We are seeking a Purchasing Intern to assist with various purchase orders (PO's) and following up with vendors as needed. This role is required to be on-site at the El Cajon, CA location.

  • Familiar with Job Boss
  • Data Entry
  • Phone/Communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on open POs; request missing pricing as needed (daily/weekly)
  • Email vendors when cert corrections are required, deliver to Inspection upon receipt on a daily basis
  • PO Receiving, verify receipt is complete, verify PO's have pricing, signed requisition attached, close PO and forward paperwork to AP on a daily basis
  • Collect and email weekly Janitorial Supply orders
  • Email Supplier Quality Survey and ITAR Cert to all approved vendors, follow up, and enter dates in ASL and/or Job Boss
  • Gather Shipping Supplies pricing from paid invoices and start price list in excel
  • Gather gas, rental, fees, etc from paid invoices and start price list in excel
  • Create PO's for Maintenance, Repairs and Operations supplies (MRO)
  • Assist with miscellaneous requests as needed
