This internship involves assisting with purchase order creation, tracking, and supplier follow-ups, supporting buyers with vendor communication and basic supplier research, and aiding in sourcing activities, RFQs, and supplier communications. The intern will also participate in purchasing activities with cross-functional teams, help resolve invoice discrepancies and delivery issues, and prepare reports related to spend, usage, and vendor performance.
Requirements
- Student currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in business or Supply Chain from an accredited institution
- Must be able to work independently and in a team-based environment
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Effective time management skills
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Responsibilities
- Assist with purchase order creation, order tracking, and supplier follow‑ups
- Support buyers with vendor communication and basic supplier research
- Assist with sourcing activities, RFQs, and supplier communications
- Participate in purchasing activities with cross-functional teams
- Help resolve invoice discrepancies and delivery issues in coordination with suppliers
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets related to spend, usage, and vendor performance
