About the Role: As a Purchasing Intern, you will assist the Purchasing team with sending quotes, rescheduling, and purchasing order placement along with transition planning for commodities, You will create purchase orders, spot buy purchase orders, review overstock reports, open orders, and expedite reports. The intern will gain practical experience in the field of purchasing and contribute to the overall efficiency of the procurement operations within the organization. Seeking an intern who is available to start in January 2026 and work year-round on a part-time basis throughout the school year pending class schedule, then full-time throughout the summer.

Requirements

• You are currently a student enrolled in courses working toward a Business Degree or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create new PO's, and spot buy PO, and review overstock reports, open orders and expedite reports.
• Work with Project buyers to secure material for Design Validation and Project Validation build
• Attend supplier meeting, and supporting meeting minute notes
• Support sourcing activity to help send Request for Quotation (RFQ), and requirements to suppliers.
• Work with Project Buyers to create sourcing activity
• Pull and analyze data
• Identify issues which need to be addressed by the reviewer
