Job Responsibilities: Position Overview Supports buyer/senior buyer activities to obtain costing to support New Programs; Engineering Changes, R&D requests, CI proposals and Market Tests for all production/ prototype components or services as required.
Requirements
- Some related experience preferred
- High School Diploma
- Currently Attending a College or University
- Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities
- Sends out RFQ to selected sources.
- Performs analysis of costs for use during sourcing process.
- Prepare matrix of costs for review by team
- Work with Purchasing Buyers on ongoing cost savings projects.
- Focused effort to support Purchasing Department budgeted targets.
- Adheres to Purchasing Departments process and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
