Morton Industries is hiring for a Purchasing Expediter! Works directly with Suppliers to ensure timely arrival of conforming goods. Supports Purchasing functions as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Include, but are not limited to, the following: Purchase order management; maintains accurate system data Analyzes multiple reports and uses information to identify misaligned and late schedules. Communicates extensively with supply base regarding delivery, quality, logistics, and order status. Candidate should be comfortable with persuasive communication and follow-up. Communicates with Purchasing, Production, and Sales teams regarding potential supply disruptions and schedule risks. Assists Buyers with maintenance of price and lead time data. Reconciles partial purchase orders and coordinates delivery corrections when required. Supports Accounting with invoice reconciliation and purchase order discrepancies. Uses system reports to monitor excess material and inventory imbalances. Supports Supplier Quality administrative functions and documentation needs. Prepares supplier performance and spend data reports as required. Supports coordination and tracking of outside service orders, including communication with vendors performing external processing or services. Assists with sourcing activities, including identifying potential suppliers, requesting quotes, and supporting buyers in supplier selection and cost analysis. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
