About The Position

The Purchasing Coordinator opportunity requires an individual that is a self-starter and self-motivated. This position will provide essential support to our purchasing team as well as spearheading inventory management processes and reporting.

Requirements

  • University Degree or College Diploma preferred in related discipline.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry & products.
  • Experience with data entry and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning software).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm and expedite purchase orders.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Inventory reporting.
  • Ensuring product lines are in budget.
  • Working with sales team and marketing to move outdated stock.
  • Assist with new product launches.
  • Receive and verify invoices for incoming material with the purchase order.
  • Negotiate better terms, pricing, and credit with vendors.
  • Physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
