About The Position

Purchasing Coordinator We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator supports the daily operations of the funeral home by managing purchase orders, tracking inventory, and coordinating with approved vendors. This entry-level position plays a vital role in ensuring funeral supplies and services are available in a timely, accurate, and respectful manner. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and sensitivity to the nature of the funeral profession. Compensation : $25 - $27 Job Type: Full-Time (Friday's work from home) Location: 3040 Post Oak Blvd. Houston, Tx 77056

Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree or coursework in business, administration, or supply chain (preferred but not required)
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level understanding of procure-to-pay processes
• Ability to occasionally travel to field locations would be required
• Professional demeanor and compassionate communication style
• Ability to multitask and work in a detail-oriented environment
• Familiarity with purchase order systems preferred (training provided)

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Business Central is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
• Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
• Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and update inventory logs
