About The Position

Konik is partnering with a local manufacturingpany that is seeking a contract Purchasing Coordinator for the microelectronics department. T is a possibility of extension, but the contract is set for six months at this time. This role is an excellent opportunity to your purchasing expertise in a fast-paced environment. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing procurement data, processing purchase orders, and supporting purchasing operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Associate degree or at least three years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
Familiarity with ERP systems and ability topile procurement data for reporting.
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
Clear and professionalmunication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Availability to work on-site at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

Generate and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, and delivery schedules.
Maintain and update procurement records to track orders and supplier details.
Monitor order progress and follow up on shipments to meet deadlines.
Troubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies or supplier issues.
Provide administrative and operational support to the purchasing team.
Ensurepliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Communicate with suppliers to facilitate smooth purchasing processes.
