About The Position

To assist the Purchasing department and service the maintenance department with specific duties such as: conducting necessary research for the maintenance department, file management, data entry, inventory control, and preparing purchase requisitions. Such other and further duties as from time to time are required by the Purchasing and/or Maintenance departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work alone without direct supervision is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of three years’

Responsibilities

  • Keep inventories of tooling, and control the supplies of inventories.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering approved Purchasing Requisitions, generating requisitions, inventory control and conducting necessary research for the maintenance department.
  • Responsibilities will also include tracking inventory in the tool boss, tool crib and office supplies.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files.
