We're looking for exceptionally talented and passionate people to join our growing team. As the Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for purchasing all products and managing inventory for our innovative new platform. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable in an operational role and has strategic, creative ideas for process improvement. You should have a strong understanding of inventory planning and procurement principles, excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and be passionate about driving efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Proven 2+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in a high-growth environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality with excellent collaboration skills
  • Expertise in Excel, familiarity with inventory management & forecasting systems, Tableau experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and confidently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Place and manage all purchase orders (POs) daily to ensure accurate entry, proofing, and maintenance
  • Provide regular updates to fulfillment partners on inventory status, potential risks, and new opportunities
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to ensure the purchasing process is efficient and scalable
  • Utilize data analysis and forecasting techniques to identify trends and make informed decisions on optimal reorder points
  • Monitor inventory levels daily and make timely adjustments to meet changing conditions
  • Analyze and report on inventory performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving solutions
  • Partner with fulfillment partners to request regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy and identify potential discrepancies
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall business performance, work closely with systems analyst to troubleshoot issues
