About The Position

The position involves assisting purchasers with all aspects of the purchasing process. This includes following up on purchase orders, entering order acknowledgements, and managing communication with vendors. The role also requires sending monthly supplier rating reports and attending meetings to provide updates as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • Prefer high numeric reasoning and developed communication skills.
  • Experience in MS Excel (emphasis on VLOOKUP, and Pivot tables), MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
  • Organizational skills, customer service oriented and able to work well with others.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Purchasers with all aspects of the purchasing process.
  • Follow-up on purchase orders.
  • Enter order acknowledgements.
  • Send and respond to emails.
  • Contact vendors when needed.
  • Send monthly supplier rating reports.
  • Attend meetings to provide updates when needed.
