Work closely with various departments to place orders and ensure timely approval. Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain records of delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival of materials. Follow up with vendors on late or missing shipments and report any damaged goods. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain optimal inventory. Perform cycle counts and manage point-of-use inventories. Provides administrative and clerical support to the department. Types reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents. Research vendors and collect prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services. Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing department. Performs other duties as assigned.
