About The Position

The Purchasing Agent assures all product and inventory purchasing is conducted on a timely basis and that timely communication is received from the manufacturer. We are looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven professional who prides themselves in accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Place daily orders for flooring products through the purchasing system and update ETA's accordingly.
  • Identify changes to purchase orders and communicate those changes to vendors and internal staff.
  • Track critical inbound shipments to ensure install schedule needs are met.
  • Report any non-conforming deliveries to management and follow up on any corrective actions required of the vendor.
  • Report vendor issues to appropriate personnel and participate in resolving those issues.
  • Monitor vendor prices and notify appropriate management when increases occur.
