About The Position

LovelySkin is searching for our next Purchasing Assistant to join a collaborative and detail-driven team! As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a key role in keeping our inventory flowing, supporting vendor partnerships, and ensuring our customers receive the products they love—on time and in full. In this role, your attention to detail and proactive approach will have a direct impact on our day-to-day operations and overall customer experience. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain (eCommerce or retail experience is a plus!)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in forecasting and data-driven decision making
  • Experience working with vendors or cross-functional teams preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort learning new systems
  • Experience with NetSuite and JIRA a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring inventory levels and managing replenishment to maintain product availability
  • Creating and ordering new SKUs while updating out-of-stock (OOS) items
  • Creating, tracking, and managing purchase orders from start to finish
  • Ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and invoiced correctly
  • Assisting with forecasting and planning to meet customer demand
  • Communicating with vendors regarding sales reports, OOS items, new SKUs, and order updates
  • Participating in vendor training sessions and marketing calls
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams including Merchandising, Customer Care, Receiving, Marketing, and Accounts Payable
  • Maintaining awareness of ongoing projects and ensuring clear communication across departments
  • Supporting various projects such as updating documents, maintaining files, and completing assigned Jira tasks
