About The Position

The Purchasing Assistant provides exceptional organization, cleanliness and food safety for the Nutritional Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily inventories of all food, paper and chemical products
• Places all food, paper and chemical orders with approved vendors
• Receives and stores all products that are ordered
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of all storage areas
• Participates in Cooks and Inventory Tech meetings
• Maintains relationship with all kitchen staff to ensure quality of work
