About The Position
Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Holliston, MA. With over 45 years in the industry, we have established ourselves as one of the region's largest merit shop electrical contractors. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Purchasing Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting our Purchasing Coordinators. This position is essential for ensuring that our company can provide timely and comprehensive estimates to our clients by delivering the most accurate and complete information. In this role, the Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include posting information to Sharefile sites, collecting and preparing data for submittals, and maintaining frequent interaction with both the Purchasing and Estimating teams. The position also involves electronic file management and scanning, which requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to multi-task effectively. Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications are essential for success in this role. Additionally, having electrical or construction knowledge, along with the ability to read electrical plans and specifications, will be considered a significant advantage. At Wayne J.
