The Purchasing and Inventory Control Supervisor at Wireless CCTV LLC is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and lifecycle inventory control functions for the US Operations department. This role involves managing supply procurement, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with company policies while optimizing workflow and efficiency.

  • Purchase all required supplies, materials, and parts for WCCTV's production function.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability.
  • Negotiate and complete contracts with vendors for optimal cost and delivery times.
  • Review purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company and departmental policies.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve problems regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.
  • Work with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely pickup and delivery of products to and from customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics departments to maximize efficiency in purchasing and inventory control.
  • Develop and maintain inventory databases for supplies and materials used.
  • Implement policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control to maximize efficiency.
  • Receive incoming stock and verify and document receipt.
  • Transfer inventory stock within and between WCCTV locations.
  • Label items for storage, use, and transfer.
  • Input data from multiple sources into the ERP system, including setup of new products and quality control points.
  • Ensure data consistency and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Update and manage product master data elements, including new product rollout and carryover products.
  • Address department concerns regarding product allocation, stock, and invoicing.
  • Establish tasks for employees to ensure a clean workplace and maintain public spaces.
  • Train new employees on company standards and procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business, Purchasing, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of inventory and/or material coordination experience in electronics manufacturing or related industry required.
  • Prior team lead or supervisory experience required.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including ERP systems, inventory management, and report writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Strong math aptitude, analytical skills, and high attention to detail required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to relate and build rapport with internal staff required.
  • Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to work independently with shifting priorities is a must.
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate initiative and focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing or related industry.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
