Key Responsibilities: Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and follow-up Maintain strong vendor relationships through regular communication, performance monitoring, and resolution of procurement-related issues. Conduct regular inventory assessments, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing surplus. Collaborate closely with internal departments, including production, logistics, and finance, ensuring alignment across purchasing processes. Monitors and maintains current inventory and safety stock levels; tracks purchase orders and investigates problems. Records purchases and usage, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory and reconciles stock count to computer generated reports. Inspect shipments and shipping documents for damage, correct quantities and delivery dates. Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork. Label, prepare and organize received stock for inventory. Perform monthly inventories and provide count data. Manage courier packages incoming and outgoing. (FedEx, UPS) Return damaged products to senders QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, preferred. 3+ years of relevant experience in purchasing and inventory management within the manufacturing industry. Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in SAP Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
