About The Position

Nicole Tonic Studios, Inc. (NTS), a division of Nicole Craft Brands, specializes in product development, designing, marketing, and innovation for our proprietary product lines in the arts and crafts industry. We offer a comprehensive range of crafting products that bring creativity to the store shelves of retailers. We are close-knit team of 20 employees in a friendly, open-office environment that feels more like a startup than a corporate office. We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Purchasing Analyst to join our growing team. The Purchasing Analyst collaborates with internal and external teams to maintain an uninterrupted flow of inventory to craft and hobby customers around the globe, including major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree, Michaels, Meijer, Hobbycraft, and Spotlight. This position ensures that NTS continues to exceed our customers’ expectations by shipping high quality products on time and in full.

Requirements

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Solid analytical and math skills
  • Proven ability to accurately forecast trends and recognize outliers when analyzing buying behaviors
  • Strong organizational and project management skills - Asana experience is a plus
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple international suppliers
  • Strong sense of urgency and responsibility in meeting deadlines and attaining goals
  • Ability to maintain a professional, positive, attitude and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience replenishing inventory for thousands of SKU’s for a consumer products company

Nice To Haves

  • International logistics experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical data and utilize forecasts to monitor and replenish inventory levels to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain and consistently attain high fill rates for key customers
  • Create customized reports and analyze large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
  • Enter, confirm, track, and receive purchase orders sent to international and domestic suppliers
  • Proactively coordinate with internal teams, freight brokers, and vendors to ensure that products are received correctly and on time
  • Work closely with the sales and product development teams to accurately forecast future product demand
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure that items meet product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer-specific requirements prior to shipment
  • Display initiative, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
