About The Position
This vacancy is for a GS-1105-7, Purchasing Agent located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, BASE HONOLULU PROCUREMENT and CONTRACTING DEPARTMENT -S located in Honolulu, HI. You will serve as a Purchasing Agent and be responsible for procurement to support Base Honolulu P&C and all Areas of Responsibility (AOR) including but not limited to: the acquisition of supplies, services, minor construction, or emergency response to procure any commodity/service required to support the AOR. Typical work assignments include reviewing procurement requests, performing market research, preparing award documents, and monitoring contracts.
