About The Position

The Purchasing Specialist at Konter Quality Homes is responsible for managing the procurement process for materials and services essential for home construction projects. This role focuses on vendor negotiation, inventory management, and supplier relationship maintenance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness in project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction or homebuilding industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Purchase Order software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project needs and prepare purchase orders for materials and services.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best prices and terms.

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions.
