About The Position

Under direction of Purchasing Manager, the incumbent carries out assignments
related to planning, coordinating and negotiating the purchase of materials,
supplies, services and equipment. Works with vendors to obtain product
information, pricing, availability, and delivery schedule. Work with a senior
level Purchasing Agent III to review bid information and negotiate pricing.
Maintain a computerized item database.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business administration or related field, or one (1) to three (3) years of work related experience.
• Must have extensive computer skills including proficient knowledge in Excel and other Microsoft applications.

• Working knowledge of supply chain software
