About The Position

We are looking to have a Purchase Order Specialist join our team.

Requirements

  • Basic education (High School diploma)
  • Experience with data entry in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office tools (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel)
  • Ability to learn and comply with company policies, procedures and business rules
  • Time management and task execution skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate, able to multitask, and meet transactional performance metrics
  • Ability to resolve basic issues

Responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of purchase orders in SAP, including scheduling agreements and outline agreements.
  • Resolution of basic PO issues including, but not limited to, PO setup corrections, over-receipt of goods on PO’s and resolving payment issues
  • Understanding of policies, procedures and business rules
  • Initiation of Ivalua requests to support supplier setups
  • Review of operational and compliance reporting to resolve aging/outstanding issues
  • Follow-up with end users, as needed, to address outstanding issues on the PO
