We are currently seeking a Purchase Funding Team Lead to join our Post-Closing Department. This position is fully remote, and candidates must have a minimum download speed of 50 MBPS to qualify. The Purchase Funding Team Lead will work from 8 AM to 5 PM EST and will report directly to the Post-Closing Acquisitions Manager/Director of Acquisitions. The primary responsibility of the Purchase Funding Team Lead is to accurately review loan files and payment histories to establish correct Unpaid Principal Balances, Escrows, and other financial details necessary for the purchase of loans from Correspondent Clients. This role involves leading the review and disbursement of bulk loan wires and funding schedules, ensuring compliance and efficiency in the funding process. The successful candidate will manage the purchase funding team, enhance the purchase funding process, and collaborate with internal teams and third parties to ensure the timely and compliant funding of saleable loans. Additionally, the Purchase Funding Team Lead will prepare, review, and reconcile bulk purchase wires with correspondent clients and internal management, track the pipeline for new loans, and address any wire-related questions or concerns from clients. This position requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and manage conflicts. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in Correspondent Purchase Funding or Correspondent Post Closing, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
