The Office of Citywide Procurement (OCP) develops, awards, and administers approximately 1,100 requirement contracts for goods and services on behalf of all City agencies, departments, boards, and authorities leveraging the City's buying power and maximizing efficiencies by reducing duplicative work. Procures, on average, nearly $1.5 billion in goods and services for City agencies annually. The Fleet and Parts unit manage an extensive portfolio of contracts that provide Fleet goods and services for all mayoral agencies. This unit solicits, awards, and manages crucial contracts, including those for the New York City Department of Sanitation (collection trucks), the New York City Fire Department (fire apparatuses), the New York City Police Department's Fleet Vehicles, and other essential city vehicles. Additionally, the unit oversees all contracts related to the citywide electrification program, from electric vehicles to charging equipment.
