Utilize and manages Night-Train inventory storage and retrieval system. Operate ToolsUS software/programs and is able to adjust tooling according to specific parameters. Effective use of computer to manage up time sheets, run schedules and other software related tasks to organize and maintain production standards. Set up and maintain ink jet printer to ensure proper part identification. Set up and operate panel bender in accordance with outlined methods and procedures to form various parts safely and properly. Ensure parts are positioned properly to produce parts that conform with engineering drawings. Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Adjust on machine and programs as required; remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece to comply with quality standards. Stack, mark, and transport finished parts to maintain proper workflow. Responsible for maintaining the 5s program for work area. Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measure, caliper, etc. Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production. Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area. Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements. Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards. Read and interpret blue prints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements. Ability to use hand tools. Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License. All other duties as assigned Your Qualifications: The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE. The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time. The ability to read and understand written English. High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
