About The Position

The role will be responsible for setting up and operating various presses throughout the shop.

Requirements

• Understand tolerances such as +/- .005.
• Read, understand, and follow all policies, processes, and procedures.
• Strong command of the English language, including verbal and written communications.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Possess or be willing to purchase the required inspection and hand tools upon acceptance of the job offer.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the metal stamping industry.
• One (1) year of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate punch presses and support equipment.
• Perform operations such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming based on blueprints and other instructions.
• Read and understand blueprints, routing sheets and/or work instructions to determine specifications.
• Measure completed work and use shop math to verify conformance to specifications.
• Maintain production efficiencies of 80% of greater once trained.
• Other duties as assigned.
