Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Operating the machine and its components in manual or automatic mode • Setting the work piece clamps • Zeroing the machine • Aligning and preloading the tooling • Checking the first production parts against the drawings to ensure accuracy • Understanding the operating sequence of the machine to determine if the machine is operating properly • Understanding the location and operation of the emergency stop and feed hold switches. • Routine maintenance of the machine Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
