About The Position

Level One: Working with assistance, level one punch press operators interpret work instructions and routers as well as gather related work docs. Level one punch press operators perform basic press operation once the job has been setup, including in process inspection, which requires the use of calipers, micrometers, etc., basic shop math and print reading. Typically 0-1 years of experience.

Requirements

• The ability to read and write English.
• Basic Print Reading
• Basic Shop Math
• Basic Inspection Processes (Tools & Measurements)
• Basic Understanding of Machine Function
• Communication Skills
• 0-1 Years of Experience

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Basic Machine Attending
• In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording)
• Perform First Part Buy-off (First Article Inspection)
• Visual Management of Machine (Stamps & Dies etc.)
• Production Paperwork/Operation Audit
