S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our machining function. In this job you will be learning to set up and operate various types of Punch Presses ranging in tonnage from 35 tons to 600 tons to cut and form material. You will be learning in a production environment where all jobs have a measured standard production rate and you will be held accountable for the quality of your work. This work involves the handling, positioning and fastening of dies ranging in weight from 50 lbs. to 1,500 lbs. with the help of material handling equipment. You will be working in a production environment where all jobs have a measured standard production rate and you will be responsible for the quality of your work. Duration of set-ups and run times varies. Most tasks require good hand/eye coordination and the full range of motion of both hands and arms on a regular and repetitive basis.
