About The Position

The Punch Carpenter is responsible for supporting the assigned project by building, maintaining and repairing various components of work in place during all phases of construction.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
0-3 years’ experience in Construction.
Basic Field-Oriented duties such as: Plumbing, Framing and Drywall.
Criminal Background Check
Non DOT Testing
MVR
Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to reach and bend using 2-step stool while safely lifting and lowering boxes. Ability to travel to and from training sessions to include OSHA.
Indoor and outdoor field conditions. May be exposed to weather conditions. Use of personal computing equipment and telephone.

Responsibilities

Assist in building various forms of structures for residential construction sites.
Participate in demolitions and reconstruction tasks.
Provides layouts, positions, joins, aligns, and seals various forms of components such as concrete, wood and metal wall sections and pipes.
Erect temporary structures and scaffolding.
Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks.
Consistently maintain safety standards on the job site.
Ensure work is completed according to measurements, specifications, drawings, plans or other production materials / instructions.
Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed including but not limited to safe lifting, and personal protective equipment.
Proactively communicates issues and problems that may or are affecting completion of the job to the responsible Project Manager.
