About The Position

Team Elmer's seeks to fill an opening for a Pump Truck Operator at the Traverse City location. This position is responsible for maintenance and general operations of a 32-meter Schwing pump truck. The operator will be dispatched to specific locations on a daily basis and may drive ready mix on days the pump is not utilized. Duties and Responsibilities: Workday is spent driving the truck to the construction site and outside while setting up, operating and tearing down the equipment. The operator will complete a daily inspection of the truck. Operator will complete daily inspection of the truck. Operator must wear a reflective vest and boots. A hard hat, safety glasses, and earplugs, may also be required at the work site. The operator will be required to comply with and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety regulations. Requirements

• Valid license, CDL with airbrake endorsement
• Clean driving record for the past 5 years
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
• Proven ability to work with customers
• Ability to maintain and service the truck and equipment
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from various people
• Willingness to comply and follow all company, OSHA and MIOSHA safety rules
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly orally and in writing
• Possess effective time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years previous experience preferred but not required
