About The Position

The position involves various responsibilities related to the preparation and staging of parts and units in a manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to standard work instructions and the ability to perform additional duties as assigned. The work environment is a manufacturing plant shop, where safety and attention to detail are paramount.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepping parts including but not limited to washing, wire wheeling, sanding, grinding, etc.
• Staging units for assembly
• Prepping units for shipping including but not limited to tagging, plugging, surface cleaning, torque sealing, test reports
• Follows standard work instructions
• Perform other duties as assigned
