Ferguson is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join its dynamic Pump Repair Facility team in Norfolk, VA. Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, service operations, pump repair, or industrial equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of pumps or rotating equipment
  • Technical or vocational training

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming pump and rotating equipment repair projects from intake through final delivery.
  • Coordinate documentation, quoting, scheduling, tracking, and customer communication to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to company standards.
  • Receive and document incoming repair requests, verify warranty status, confirm scope, and ensure all approvals are in place.
  • Serve as the main liaison between customers, vendors, and internal repair teams.
  • Provide timely updates on repair progress, timelines, and costs.
  • Work with sales and technical teams to generate accurate repair quotes and obtain approvals before authorizing work.
  • Monitor work in progress, prioritize urgent repairs, and maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Review completed repairs, confirm standards are met, and coordinate delivery or pickup with customers.
  • Identify workflow improvements to reduce turnaround time and enhance customer experience.
