We have an opportunity for a Pump Line Operations Supervisor – 2nd Shift to join our Sanford, NC team. You will be responsible for overall performance and leading the production team to continuously improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash, while also ensuring talent development of the team. Shift Hours: 2:45 pm-12:45 am Monday - Thursday. Occasionally, on Fridays, depending on business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of supervisory experience OR a minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a hands-on leader.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge and implementation experience.
• Personnel management.
• High energy and the ability to motivate and influence.
• Strong problem solving & critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and ergonomic work environment for the team and encourages suggestions, actions and ownership for improvement.
• Ensure process and product quality through the adherence to standard work and other related documents/procedures.
• Be responsible for training the team and improving flow within the cells to ensure that customer demand is met.
• Be responsible for staffing requirements the meet the established goals/line rates.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through established depletion/replenishment systems and cycle counting processes.
• Be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of team members for career/talent development
• Be responsible for ensuring that the team operates with a WIN RIGHT mentality and operates within the policies and procedures of Pentair.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
