FTE: 100% WORK SHIFT Days PAY RANGE: $101,857.60 - $520,000.00 UNION: SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS: JOB DESCRIPTION: Olympic Medical Physicians’ clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State’s beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. We are seeking a team-oriented pulmonary physician to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation and care to patients presenting with respiratory illness. Highlights of the practice include: Robust procedure support with state-of-the art bronchoscopy equipment Integrated electronical healthcare record system (EPIC) with local and regional hospital systems The successful pulmonology Physician at OMP specialty clinics is focused on providing excellent person-centered care to rural patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team. EDUCATION Medical degree from an accredited school required. Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in pulmonology. Successful completion of requirements of the ABIM for certification in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. Completion of requirements of the ABIM for certification in critical care medicine preferred, but not required. Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements. EXPERIENCE Completion of pulmonology fellowship. Two years of practice in pulmonology preferred. LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS Board certified or active participant in the examination process leading to certification in pulmonary disease and area of sub-specialty (if any). Recertifies at appropriate intervals per specialty board requirements. Maintains an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington. Maintains current DEA registration. Maintains current BLS certification. Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff. QUALITIES Advocates for patient-centered care. Highly skilled in effective interpersonal communication and diplomatic relations with public, patients, nursing staff, supervisors and coworkers.
