About The Position
Outstanding opportunity for a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pulmonologist to join established and expanding single specialty practice consisting of 6 Pulmonary Medicine physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers. The position involves both inpatient and outpatient practice, where the pulmonologist will work as consulting physicians alongside Hospitalists and Intensivist teams. The practice features a brand new 18 exam room clinic setting and offers advanced procedures such as Navigational Bronchoscopy, EBUS, and Zephyr Valve Placement, with plans to introduce Robotic Assisted Bronchoscopy this year. The schedule includes 1 week in the hospital and 3 weeks in the clinic, with a call rotation of 1:6. The practice has strong multidisciplinary relationships with various specialties including Cardiothoracic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Cardiology, and Respiratory Therapy, providing a wide variety of lung disease management due to area demographics. The practice also includes an Incidental Lung Nodule Program, Lung Cancer Screening Program, and a Sleep Lab attached to the hospital. Experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants provide support to the pulmonologist.
