About The Position

We are seeking an RN Pulmonary Nurse in Gainesville, FL. This 45-bed unit provides care for patients with pulmonary and complex medical conditions, offering a collaborative work environment with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Nurses here gain broad experience in respiratory and medical-surgical care while advancing their careers.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Florida or Compact state.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 4 years).
• ADN/Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• BLS required at start; NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to pulmonary and medical-surgical patients.
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Uphold hospital standards for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
