About The Position
A Pulmonary Medicine Physician Critical Care Pulmonologist practice is seeking a qualified physician for Green Bay, WI. This position is for Board Certified Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians who will work day shifts at one of the nation’s Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals, recognized for its excellence and numerous awards at both state and national levels. The hospital is a leader in various medical fields including cardiac care, orthopedics, sports medicine, digestive health, mental health, and primary care medicine. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant city known for its outdoor activities, brewery tours, and cultural attractions, all while being part of a dedicated healthcare team. The physician will be expected to work from 7 am to 7 pm onsite, with offsite pager call during the night. The preferred response time for pager calls is 20 minutes. The procedures involved in this role include central lines, tubes, ventilator management, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy. The average patient load is between 8 to 12 patients per day, and the ICU is open with no trauma patients. The compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate, a generous flat pager call rate, and additional compensation for night calls. Malpractice insurance is provided, along with travel accommodations for the physician.
